By the way, the bike is on it's way to it's new home in Houston, Texas. Bartels' would like to congratulate the person who contributed $800,000 to help the victims of this tragedy.

In 2001, 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Harley-Davidson partnered to raise over $360,000 for the victims of 9/11 with the auction of a motorcycle signed by celebrities including John Travolta, Sylvester Stallone, Denzel Washington, Tom Cruise and many more. Because of the success from that endeavor, 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno' and Harley-Davidson have once again partnered, this time to raise money for the victims of the tsunami affecting South Asia .

Harley-Davidson and Bartels' have donated a Road King motorcycle, which will be signed by celebrities including Jay Leno. Those who have already signed include Kate Winslet, Dustin Hoffman, Nicole Kidman, Tim Robbins, Virginia Madsen, Matt LeBlanc and Ellen DeGeneres. Many more celebrity guests have and will continue to sign the bike through the end of the auction. A record $800,100.00 was raised from the ebay auction of this Bartels' Harley-Davidson.

The money raised from the bike's auction on eBay will benefit the American Red Cross International Disaster Relief efforts.
